Vettel: Titles the target for 2010 season

Sebastian Vettel says himself and the Red Bull Racing team must target both titles next year after finishing runners-up in the 2009 season.

"There's only one step to do better, for the team's ranking as well as for the drivers' for myself. There's no question about the target," Vettel said at the Race of Champions in Beijing on Tuesday.

The German driver finished second behind Brawn rival Jenson Button in the championship, while Red Bull was runner-up in the Constructors' Championship behind the Briton's team.

Red Bull took victory in the last three races of the season and Vettel sees no reason why the Milton Keynes team cannot keep its momentum going into 2010.

"I think so," he said when asked if it was realistic to expect to fight for the title. "We have been growing a lot already this year.

"It was the first time we were in that situation and I think we got along quite well, but there were lessons to be learned and I think we are on the right way. The team is doing fantastically well, we have a great atmosphere, everybody for sure now needs the break to relax a little bit with the family.

"But at the same time I know that everybody is extremely motivated to come back as soon as possible, build the new car and make the next season better than this."
